Kisodojo will be continuing training at Meehan dojo for 2-3 weeks.

Hi all, due to the nature of college community it will be necessary to move our training space for a few weeks. The college are very keen to keep us and facilitate our classes but would like to wait for the sports societies to return from summer break to book their times etc as they get 1st priority, then we will select a time and space. They have suggested that we will put on a demo day for freshers week again quite keen to keep us.

Until this is sorted out we will be training at Meehan dojo in Harold’s cross (www.happobiken.com/index.php?/about/aboutDirections/), there are many busses to this location and is only 10mins from town, Meehan dojo has been very kind in offering us the use of his space for the next while. Again because of this the class is now open to new students that will be happy to move to trinity soon or indeed anyone that would like to come down to work on their basics just enquire (shdugg@gmail.com or 0874190870)

Beginners course June 2011

At last a venue, and an exciting one at that. Kisodojo will now open for an 8 week beginners course at the Trinity College Sports Centre. This is an excellent venue with lots of space, training mats, showers, men and women’s changing rooms.

The beginners course will begin on the 29th of June 2011 at 8pm in the Trinity College Sports Centre. However, all levels from other dojo’s are welcome to take part, just contact me in advance.

The beginners course will prepare you for training through stretching, body conditioning, evasion rolling and falling (help with learning to avoid injuries), striking, throwing, body and joint locks and manipulation, in addition to beginners wooden weapons work.

Classes are taught in a relaxed and fun format which should be suitable to all with no previous experience. Check out the pages above for more information.
